Bethesda as a Restaurant Destination

Friends, as you know, here at Bethesda Actually, we are very excited by the crop of new restaurants that are opening up in the coming months. This piece from the Gazette does a nice job of connecting the dots between a few of them (Vapiano’s, Taylor Gourmet, Mussel Bar, Bistro Provence, American Tap Room and Food and Wine Co.)

Of course there are others on the horizon that could be included in such a list including the Med Cafe on Norfolk. No doubt, these are fun times for the casual Bethesda diner and local foodies alike!

Washington Post Reviews Bistro Provence

Hi folks, sorry for the light posting today. Hope to get back on track tomorrow. I did want to share this interesting review of Bisro Provence on Fairmont Ave here in Bethesda.

It sounds like a super place to eat:

As the name suggests, the colors in the small dining room run bright and sunny. On a pleasant day, however, you’ll want to sit in the bistro’s handsome courtyard. Open to the sky, the setting is wrapped in stone and stucco walls; abundant greenery and the occasional singing bird soothe the senses.

Have you had a chance to eat there?
