What Are You Doing to Prepare for the Heat Way?
Friends — just wanted to check and see what you were doing to plan for the 100 + degree weather heading our way. Share your ideas below!
Evening at Veterans Park
Friends — just wanted to post a short note to recommend that if you are at a loose end during a summer evening think about spending it down at Veterans Park. We did that on Saturday evening, had some snacks, cool drinks and watched the world go by and it was a lot of fun. There are lots of places in the vicinity to pick up food and drink to go — from BGR to the soon to be open Bold Bites and there is also the chance of catching live music down there. Good fun for all the family during the summer — check it out and feel free to send you impressions of VP to bethesdaactually@gmail.com
Happy 4th July Bethesda
Friends,
Between travel and all sorts of technical issues it has been a long time since we were able to keep a regular schedule on the blog. For that we are sorry. Hopefully the tech problems are behind us and we can get back to building an online community that helps to strengthen the sense of community in Bethesda.
In the coming weeks we will be looking to feature the work of local Bethesda residents who are doing important, interesting and innovative work – in particular we want to share stories with the community that highlight our neighbors “charitable/good works.” So if you have any projects or people you would like us to profile please send an email to bethesdaactually@gmail.com
If you are likely to be offline until Tuesday we would like to take this moment to wish you a Happy 4th July!
