Bethesda public accountancy firm Reznick Group has relocated offices – but we’re pleased to report that they’ve stayed within Bethesda. Formerly located in offices along Old Georgetown Road, the company can now be found at 7501 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 400E (see map below). You can read the full press release here, and find out more about Reznick Group’s environmental commitments here.
A couple of days ago an older gentleman visiting the area commented to me that he was really impressed with the different markets/ farmers markets we have here in Bethesda. It struck me as an important comment because the farmers markets and other markets we have here in Bethesda have become such a key part of our community that we almost take them for granted.
So I, for one, will be making an extra effort to appreciate these wonderful outdoor areas and will be looking to check them all out in the coming weeks and reporting back on the best deals and other nice features to be found.
If you pop into one of them in the coming days/ weeks, drop us a line with your impressions.
Friends,
Sorry I have not been on the site for a while. I caught a miserable bug last week and it really knocked me back. I am feeling much better now and keen to get things back on track. Lot’s to discuss from the past few days — let me start by asking where you went out to eat for Mothers Day (brunch, lunch or dinner). Drop us an email (bethesdaactually@gmail.com) or leave a comment below.
Cheers!

Friends, don’t forget that Crosby and Nash are performing at the Strathmore Music Center this evening.
Of course, news of such a cool event reminds me of how wonderful it will be for the residents of Symphony Park to stroll to such concerts in the future and to take advantage of the special relationship with Strathmore.
Key details for this evening: Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda. Tickets are $35 to $125. Call 301-581-5100 or visit strathmore.org.
Patch has a nice review of Sweet Basil, a restaurant we are yet to cover. Here is a brief clip, be sure to check out the full thing:
“The dishes I tried at Sweet Basil are subtle and have no MSG. The prices are hardly inexpensive, but it’s my impression that they’re using fresh ingredients. The service was solicitous each time I dined there–my jasmine tea was piping hot, my server refilled the waters without asking. It’s never been crowded, and diners seem pleased, usually walking out with leftovers.”
