Reznick Group Completes Office Move

Several weeks ago we reported on Reznick Group’s relocation within Bethesda.  Last week we noticed the office movers outside the building, doubtless finishing up the task.  Assuming the space is now fully vacated, can we expect a new tenant soon?

New ATM Machines at Capital One Bank

Admittedly this installation will be complete by now, but I’ve been out of town for the last week and wanted to share these images, which I snapped before I left.  Here Capital One Bank on Old Georgetown Road installs a couple of new ATM machines. This premises was previously occupied by Chevy Chase Bank.

Can anyone verify if they’re now dispensing bills?

Pizzeria Da Marco!

Yesterday I visited Pizzeria Da Marco on Woodmont Ave with a couple of good friends and wanted to report back that lunch there is WONDERFUL!

The space is well designed – airy and not too cluttered. The staff are really nice, they know their menu and make good recommendations….and the pizza itself is fantastic!!

The chef/owner is from Naples and the Pizzeria describes itself as a place serving “Authentic Neoplitan Pizza” — well I haven’t been to Naples but if the food is this good it is time for a visit!

If you are in town for the long weekend you should treat yourself and pop in for a meal — it is well worth it — Pizza Da Marco is a welcome addition to Bethesda.

Rock Bottom Bethesda Tapping of “Summer Ale” Tomorrow 7pm!

Friends,

Just saw that there is a very nice “Summer Ale” event being held at Rock Bottom Brewery tomorrow. Geoff, the brewer, describes the ale this way — should be a fun event:

Summer Ale is light amber in color with a light body.  It has a pound and a half of hops per barrel.  All the hops are loaded in the back end: toward the end of boil, post boil, and post fermentation.  Bright citrus and floral hop notes dominate the aroma and flavor.  You’ll be expecting that mouth puckering bitterness to follow, but, it doesn’t.  It finishes with light caramel malt sweetness with just a little bitterness to balance.  It is a unique and interesting.  I hope you enjoy this first of the summer time beers.
