Live at Symphony Park – Strathmore

Friends, I attended a wonderful preview event organized by the builders of the new Symphony Park residential community project over the weekend. It was a prelaunch of sorts, for friends and family of the builders and a few select others and I was grateful to receive an invite.

As a realtor and someone who loves our area I have had high hopes for this project and I have to say that the builders look like they are ready to deliver something very special. From the amazing quality of the Brownstone community to the integrated nature of the community (green space and a special relationship with Strathmore) the project fits together beautifully.

I have already arranged a private visit for one of my clients and if you are interested in learning more about Symphony Park give me a call at (240)486-3921. I’m happy to answer your questions. I’ll be writing more in the days ahead. Cheers! Raj

Hi friends, just heard from our friend Lauren who noted that their charitable effort was a big success. The salon collected over 400 inches of hair- almost double the goal they originally set out to achieve!  Lauren wanted to share the news and these pictures with the Bethesda Actually community:

Thornett Kitchens at PeriPoint

Fantastic to see the ground floor of PeriPoint in use by Thornett Kitchens!  We’ve followed the development of this unique building for a while now and love the way it’s looking.  Find out more at their website, including info about advertizing with them.  As they point, out, over 2 million cars pass PeriPoint each month, so it could be a great opportunity!

Bubby’s in Bethesda

Friends — we have a NEW NY delicatessen in Bethesda — it’s called Bubby’s.  Jeff Manas, who has run a number of delis throughout Maryland, is the primary owner and running day-to-day operations of the restaurant, and the Executive Chef is Frank Petrello. We just heard from another co-owner Jon Eick and will certainly be taking him up on his offer to review it.

More info on the restaurant and its menu can be found here:  http://bubbysnydeli.com
