Folks, just a reminder about the Bethesda Green First Thursday Happy Hour:

Kick off the summer season with casual conversation and social networking at The Wine Bar, in the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel in Bethesda, June 3, 5 – 8 pm. Joining us at the Happy Hour will be a delegation of Israeli environmentalists, who are visiting Bethesda Green earlier that afternoon.

Forum Shemesh Yehuda for the Environment and Sustainability is a non-profit grassroots environmental organization in the Beit Shemesh and Mateh Yehuda region. Shemesh Yehuda aims to increase the environmental awareness and involvement of local residents and leadership through community-based programming, information sharing and educational projects.

The Happy Hour will include special remarks from BG Board Member Doug Weisburger with the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and a representative of Clean Currents, our sponsor for the event.

A $10 contribution is requested, which covers a sampling of appetizers and makes you eligible to win one of two complementary dinners for two at the Doubletree signature restaurant, The O.Z.
